Allen V. Ambrose, President and Director

Mr. Ambrose has nearly three decades of experience in the mining industry, including work with large companies as well as junior exploration companies. He has been a director of Minera Andes since November 1995.

Mr. Ambrose has extensive experience in all phases of exploration, project evaluation and project management, and has worked as a geologic consultant in the U.S., Venezuela and Argentina. As a consultant, he was a co-discoverer of a Venezuelan auriferous massive sulfide deposit acquired by Gold Reserve Corporation, and known generally as the Brisas deposit. He formerly was employed as exploration manager for N.A. Degerstrom Inc., a U.S. contract mining company, and has worked as a geologist for Cyprus Minerals, Kidd Creek Mines, Molycorp, Boise Cascade and Dennison Mines. He holds a B.Sc.degree in Geology from Eastern Washington University.

Mr. Ambrose serves as a director for several junior exploration companies and a capital company, and provides management and geologic consulting services to several companies.

 
Brian Gavin, Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Gavin also has about three decades of experience in exploration geology, encompassing all phases of exploration, project evaluation and project management in the search for precious and base metals and industrial minerals. He has worked in the field as project manager and consultant in the U.S., Mexico, Nigeria, Argentina and most recently, Romania. He holds a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in geology from the University of London and M.S. degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Missouri-Rolla. From 1981 to 1993, he was a consultant with Ernest Lehman & Associates, a geological mining consulting firm. From 1993 to 2003, he was employed by N.A. Degerstrom Inc. Mr. Gavin has served as an officer and director of Franconia Minerals Corporation since June 2001. He is also a director of Minera andes S.A., the Argentine subsidiary owned by Minera Andes and Minera Santa Cruz S.A., the operating company for the San Jose project.

 
Gary A. Craig, Director
Mr. Craig is currently the president of N.A. Degerstrom Inc., and holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Idaho. He has more than 30 years experience as a project engineer, including shaft construction and mine manager. His responsibilities for Degerstrom include managing 350 employees at various job sites in the U.S. Prior to employment with Degerstrom, Mr. Craig worked for 27 years for Dravo Corp.

 
A.D. (Darryl) Drummond, Director
Dr. Drummond is a professional engineer and has been a director of Minera Andes since June 1996. He is presently the president of D.D.H. Geomanagement Ltd., Vancouver, B.C. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. degree in Geological Engineering in 1959, and with an M.A. Sc. in 1961. He obtained his doctorate degree in 1966 from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Drummond has extensive experience in Latin American mineral deposit evaluation including precious and base metals, and industrial minerals, in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Mexico and Venezuela. He serves as a director for several junior exploration companies.

 
John Johnson Crabb, Director
Mr. Crabb was graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1951 with a M.S. degree in Geology and has been a director of Minera Andes since November 1995. He was a director of Inland Resources, Inc., from 1985 to November 1995. Mr. Crabb was a director for Pegasus Gold Inc., and vice president of exploration for Crowsnest Resources Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell Canada.

 
Bonnie L. Kuhn, Secretary and Director
Ms. Kuhn has been the secretary and director of Minera Andes since June 1997, and was chief financial officer from 2000 to 2005. She received a law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1989, and has practiced law in Alberta since 1990. Her areas of expertise include resource and securities law. Ms. Kuhn serves as a board member for several junior resource companies.

 
Allan J. Marter, Director
Mr. Marter is a mining finance professional with more than 25 years experience. He is a chartered accountant and has wide business planning and financial experience with exploration companies and small to emerging mid-tier producing companies. His experience includes having served as a senior executive with Golden Star Resources Ltd., where he arranged more than $200 million in financings. Mr. Marter has directed and assisted equity financings, provided advisory services, and assisted with debt and acquisition financing packages.

 
Henry John, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. John, a chartered accountant in British Columbia, Canada, since 1974, and a certified public accountant in Washington, USA, since 1998, has broad-based accounting and auditing experience with public corporations, including junior exploration/mining companies. In Washington he has been associated with the firm of LeMaster & Daniels where his duties included audits and regulatory oversight compliance, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
